Thai Airways introduces e-Boarding Pass

On August 1, Thai Airways International will introduce e-boarding passes delivered to smart phones, , initially for domestic flights departing Suvarnabhumi International Airport, to Chiang Mai and Phuket.



TG managing director, ground services business unit, Danuj Bunnag, said the e-boarding pass service would be available on smart phones and laptops that support Multimedia Messaging Service, or MMS,  to receive a 2D barcode boarding pass after completing the online check-in process.


Initially the service will be available to just AIS customers followed later by DTAC and True Move H. The fee is Bt6 for each e-boarding pass delivery.
