New General Manager of MGM Grand Ho Tram

MGM Grand Ho Tram has named John Webb its vice president and hotel general manager.

With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Webb formerly held the tenure of general manager in Shanghai, Phuket (Thailand), Mumbai (India), the Philippines, Australia, as well as Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon where he was awarded “General Manager of the Year” title for the Renaissance Brand globally.

Before moving to Vietnam, he spent a year in Manila, the Philippines, supporting the re-brand of a 600-room hotel to The New World Renaissance Hotel, Makati City.

MGM Grand Ho Tram Project

MGM Grand Ho Tram is one of the five resorts in Ho Tram Strip project in Vietnam invested and developed by Canadian Asian Coast Development (ACDL) and managed by MGM Hospitality.

MGM Grand Ho Tram project is expected to be completed and first time opened for visitors in early 2013. However, only holders of foreign visas can enter the casino here.

This is a high-end complex resort, located about 127 km away from Ho Chi Minh city to the southeast. MGM Grand Ho Tram has 541 rooms, a restaurant chain with world-class facilities, a VIP lounge, a conference center and a spectacular entertainment area consisting of 90 game tables and 500 game machines.
