Vietnam-Japan festival this weekend

 The Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Festival-TOUCH 2013 will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Youth Cultural House in District 1.

The two-day event has the participation of Japanese anime singer Piko who will contribute to local audiences his popular hits as well as new pieces from his upcoming album. The organizer also invites local artists such as Wanbi Tuan Anh, Nam Cuong, Sy Thanh, Huong Tram, winner of The Voice 2012, and Quach Vinh Hai who won ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ 2012.

Young participants may find the Cosplay competition, where winners will be educated to complete cosplay at international standards, interesting. Additionally, winners have a chance to be nominated to compete at the World Cosplay Summit in Japan.

The event also features an anime display, dance contest (Japanese and Vietnamese traditional dancing and hip hop), folk games, martial arts performances and food introductions.

TOUCH 2013 is an annual event which attracts thousands of young people. Its purpose is to create a platform for young people to show their creativeness and a cultural exchange between the countries’ youth.
