Airlines to sell New Year's tickets

Today August 08, 2012, two airlines in Vietnam has officially announced plans to sell tickets for the next Tet vacation - New Year 2013.

Today, the two airlines, Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific Airlines, have posted information about tickets for New Year 2013 on their website as well as notifed their ticket agents.

As usual, the two airlines are to periodically open ticket stock for Tet holiday. Passengers can book their tickets on the websites of Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific, as well as contact the airlines\' ticket offices or agents.

Fare for this year vacaton are expected not much different compared to last year. The airlines also pledged to increase the frequency of flights with high demand, mainly between the major cities, to serve the travel needs of passengers during Tet.

Now, two passenger carriers remaining, Vietjet Air and Air Mekong has yet to announce their flight schedules and ticket plan for New Year 2013.

UPDATE: By 11a.m today, Jetstar Pacific Airlines has removed Tet\'s ticket information from their website. The cause has yet to be revealed, but passengers still can book their ticket via the airline\'s ticket office or agents, as well as via the website of Vietnam Airlines.
