VietJet to launch new routes |

Vietnam’s new low-cost carrier,
VietJet Air, will launch four new domestic routes and one new
international route before the end of 2012.

Services between Ho
Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Vinh, in north-central Vietnam, will commence
on 15 November, one week before the launch of HCMC - Hue flights on 22
November. Then on 7 December, VietJet will commence flights between
Hanoi and the Central Highlands city of Dalat, and on 20 December a new
route will connect HCMC with the southern resort island of Phu Quoc.
VietJet
will also raise the frequency of four existing routes. HCMC - Nha Trang
will rise to twice daily, while the HCMC - Danang service will increase
to three times a day. Hanoi - Danang will rise to twice daily, and the
key HCMC - Hanoi route will increase to eight daily flights.
The first international flight of Vietjet Air between HCMC and Bangkok is plan to take off on December 14, 2012.
VietJet Air launched in late 2011 and now operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.
