Korean Tourism Board to establish a representative office in Vietnam

On the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposal basis, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has agreed the establishment of a representative office for Korean Tourism Board in Vietnam.

Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of specific processing and decision making for the establishment as prescribed.

According to the Korea Tourism Board, within five years, the number of Vietnamese tourists to visit Korea has doubled, proved a promising future for Vietnam to become one of the main market for South Korea's tourism.

Data of the year 2011 showed that South Korea has received about 105,000 visitors from Vietnam while there are 536,000 South Korean tourists to Vietnam.
