From 28 October, the Taiwanese carrier will fly direct from Taipei’s
Taoyuan International Airport to Hakodate, the port city in southern
Hokkaido. Flights will initially operate twice a week (Wednesdays and
Sundays), with a third weekly service being added from December 2012.
All flights will be operated using a 252-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Eva Air Airbus A330-200
EVA already operates flights to Hokkaido’s largest city, Sapporo, and
when the Hakodate services launch it will provide close to 3,000 seats a
week between Hokkaido and Taiwan – more than any other airline.
