JAL to fly Dreamliner to Helsinki & San Diego

Japan Airlines (JAL) has unveiled plans to launch flights from Tokyo’s Narita airport to Helsinki.

The airline will initially serve the Finnish capital four times a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) from March 2013 using its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The frequency will then rise to daily from the middle of next year.

JAL also confirmed today (21 August 2012) that it will commence its new Dreamliner flights to San Diego from 2 December 2012. Initially flights to the Californian hub will operated four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) from Tokyo Narita, before rising to daily in March 2013.

The airline will also boost its Tokyo Narita-Singapore flights to twice a day from 28 October 2012, with the second daily service being operated using a B787 Dreamliner, while the daily services from Tokyo Haneda to both Beijing and Singapore will be flown using a B787.
